This is a calculator that will help you determine the combined level of two different sound sources. If you have one source producing a sound level of 93db and you add a second sound source of 93db, you wouldn't get a level of 180db. In fact, you would have a sound level of 96db. Things get even more complicated when you are combining two different levels together. 

Decibels are logarithmic units and can't be added like other numbers.
