RECORD AND MIX

STEREO | DOLBY ATMOS

TSC Studio is a modern fusion of technology and creative flexibility. Our primary clients are the ones looking for something deeper in their production. Something sonically that can pull the emotions of a listener. Many record labels, producers, independent artist, theatre, and live production clients have been enjoying the TSC service that started it all back in 1994.

The Modern Studio Dynamics

Today major labels and indie labels have lost control of the production environment. Along with that, the internet has put everything at the finger tips.

We are excited about the new opportunities this has developed for the new studio roll in this industry. More and more we are working directly with artists locally, nationally, and around the world. Experience, sonic quality, professional service, and flexibility are the ingredients TSC will bring to your next project.

Who works with TSC?

We work with major labels, indie labels, recording artists, as well as corporate clients. We offer studio recording and  production services. We are most known for our mixing and mastering services.

How can I work with TSC?

Nowadays most projects come to us for mixing and mastering via our TSC Creative Collaboration uplink. From there we will schedule your project and work out project logistics.

What are your rates?

Rates are project specific.

 Do you offer production samples?

Yes, we love earning your business and being a part of your production team. Through our TSC Creative Collaboration uplink we can share files and give you a taste of what it will feel like to work with TSC.

MASTERING

STEREO | DOLBY ATMOS

TSC Mastering came into existence by the requests of clients and their lack of satisfaction they have had with other mastering sessions.

Our goal was to provide a transparent work flow for our clients and bring the last little details in focus with the project vision.

Mastering has really changed over the years and the quality of studio production is all over the map. The need for quality mastering has never been more present.

Every mastering engineer has a different approach and a select choice of tools to bring out the most in the music. New tools have provided M/S mastering, variable harmonic content, and multi band imaging. Not only that, we have the ability to do spectral editing, dynamic windowing, and EQ curve impressions. Our kit will also allow monitoring of multiple compressed formats so you are assured your deliverables are the best they can be.

We call it "Sonic Polishing" and we have attracted major and indie label projects as well as independent and corporate projects.

Live event remote recording often requires other supported production needs. Our live sound services can also accompany our remote recording systems on an integrated network.

Through our strategic partner network we can also support addition services that often accompany remote record projects. This includes: Multi Camera Production, Live Streaming, Live IP Satellite Uplink, Video on Demand, and Pay Per View services.

REMOTE RECORDING

Remote Recording has always been one of core services we provide. Equally at home with live events or location album work, our systems offer top quality recording and broadcast mixes. We have attracted clients such as Warner Bros, FOX, Fuel TV, Sting, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Chevelle, All American Rejects, Hoobastank, Daniel Lanois, and many others.

Our system is scalable from 2 track capture up to 64 channel capture.

Remote recording really requires a combination of experience and skills. It requires the experience and knowledge of the live event environment with the creative focus of the studio environment. It is an area where experience really counts.

We always pre configure and test our remote systems for the given project. This allows production days with our clients to be completely focused on the production and creatively focused on the moment we are capturing.

We offer the same production quality you would find in a fixed recording studio. From Class A pre amps, choice mics from Shure, Sennheiser, Neumann, and AKG, to highend converters from Antelope Audio.

Remote recording isn't just for live events. There are many situations that require a space other than a studio. In fact, there are many remote recording albums that you already know. These are albums known for their sonic character and use of the space to bring something special to the project. A few examples are Led Zeppelin, U2, and Sting. When they could have recorded anywhere in the world, the choice was a remote location.

Below is an album project we did with James McKee Smith ( Ice Age, Bolt, Kung Fu Panda, The Bourne Ultimatum, Pirates of the Caribbean). It was recorded on location at a theater in Laguna Beach. We later brought the recordings back to our studio for mixing and mastering.

TSC CREATIVE COLLABORATION FILE UPLINK

TSC's studio is home for mixing and mastering engineer Devin DeVore. Most known for his big clean punchy sound, he is at home on a verity of styles. He knows when a production needs to be transparent and when it needs to be aggressive. When asked how he knows when a project is done, "When all the sonic technicalities fall away and the pure emotion of the song reveals itself. I'm not stopping until the goosebumps show up."
